Wake Up Narcolepsy Launches Resources for Disclosing Diagnosis & Accessing Accommodations

One of the goals of the work Wake Up Narcolepsy does is to lessen the stress on people with Narcolepsy and caregivers of people with Narcolepsy by providing them guidance through disclosing their diagnosis, both in work and school settings, and understanding what reasonable accommodations look like.
Every person with Narcolepsy experiences the disorder differently and it is up to them whether or not they disclose to employers or others. These templates do not serve as endorsement from Wake Up Narcolepsy or medical advice in any capacity. They are purely meant to guide someone who is wondering how to disclose and request accommodations, or advocate for themselves as a person with Narcolepsy.
The new resources offered by Wake Up Narcolepsy include:
