A Wake Up Narcolepsy (WUN) Town Hall is coming to Portland! This engaging event will offer valuable information on the importance of quality sleep, practical sleep hygiene tips and support for those with diagnosed or suspected sleep conditions. Whether you’re living with Narcolepsy, Idiopathic Hypersomnia (IH) or another sleep disorder, this is a meaningful chance to connect with others and participate in open dialogue around sleep health and chronic illness.
The event will feature Arielle L. Leonard Hodges, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Communication Studies Department at George Fox University. Dr. Hodges will speak on communication strategies for managing invisible chronic illnesses with a focus on disclosure, self-advocacy and navigating personal and professional conversations.
