WUN Narcolepsy in Six Words Contest
Ernest Hemingway, the prolific author, was once asked as part of a bet to write a story in just six words. It’s not hard to imagine – but he won. His winning story? “For sale: baby shoes. Never worn.”
Wake Up Narcolepsy (WUN) commemorated Sleep Awareness Week® March 13 – 19, by highlighting the effects of narcolepsy than in six short words. We asked the WUN community to share how narcolepsy has impacted them or their family in six words.
The six words could be anything: a sentence, a phrase, or six words independent of each other.
We were wonderfully overwhelmed by the response! It’s your words that drive narcolepsy awareness, education and research towards improved treatments and a cure. It’s why we do the work we do!
Below are the entries we received. We hope they inspire you as they did us. Click on the image to view full size.
