For the first time, the prestigious Boston Marathon is going to take place not in Boston, but all around the world. Our runners have accepted this additional challenge to run the full marathon, in their hometowns supported by their families and local communities. WUN congratulates them!
Lindsay Jesteadt, Thaddeus Bath, Gretchen Micklitsch and Colleen Marsallo who comprise our 2020 team were all race-ready in April when the Boston Marathon should have taken place, but have extended their training schedules to now peak in mid-September in order to raise further funds for narcolepsy research and critical awareness of the impact of narcolepsy.
Demonstrating grit in the season of COVID and individual and collective determination to help ease the suffering of people with narcolepsy, we invite you all to support TEAM WUN by donating to their re-imagined race.
Not all of us can run 26.2 miles. But we can all help people with narcolepsy by funding research at leading centers of excellence around the US.
