SLEEP Meeting 2025 Recap

Wake Up Narcolepsy (WUN) representatives are always excited to attend the annual SLEEP Meeting hosted by the Associated Professional Sleep Societies, LLC (APSS).

The WUN team collaborated on sleep awareness and shared information about the organization’s work at SLEEP 2025 in Seattle, WA. Each year brings familiar and new faces, strengthening the connections formed with community members and industry professionals.

At WUN’s exhibitor booth, healthcare professional (HCP) resources were shared with attendees to help connect their patients with the support they need in their Narcolepsy journey.

In the poster hall, WUN was honored to be featured on two projects:

Tammy Anderson, WUN Executive Director,  and Jenny Rose, WUN Manager of Outreach & Engagement, were co-authors alongside Daniel Rongo, MD, Likhita Shaik, MD, Janey Dudley, MD and Anna Wani, MD, on the UTSouthwestern Medical Center poster “Evaluating the Impact of Patient Support Group Events in Narcolepsy Patients.”

The Stanford Medicine poster “T cell reactivity to Influenza B and to Pandemrix/pH1N1 in Narcolepsy Type 1”  from Guo Luo, PhD, Jing Zhang, MD and Emmanuel Mignot, MD, PhD, was supported by a WUN research grant.

Materials handed out at the conference were made possible by WUN’s 2025 HCP Resource Sponsors!
