Good @ Naps: Sleep Health Awareness Campaign by Wake Up Narcolepsy

 

For too long our society and culture have communicated that taking naps = laziness. We, the narcolepsy community, know that this is not true. 

 Good @ Naps is our Sleep Week 2021 digital awareness campaign that celebrates naps and sleeping. We want to amplify the narcolepsy community’s voices by providing a space for you to share your favorite sleep tips, sleep health facts, and/or personal testimony on how taking naps fuels you.

To participate in Good @ Naps, please do the following:

  1. Choose a photo of yourself (please make sure we can see your face and that the image size isn’t too small!)
  2. Share your favorite sleep tips, sleep health facts, and/or personal testimony on how taking naps fuels you.
  3. Send your name, a photo, and your blurb to wunteam@wakeupnarcolepsy.org also any social media handles and information you would like us to share. We will take the image and words and make it look #GoodAtNaps fancy!

 

On Sleep Week 2021, we will post the Good @ Naps participants’ responses all over social media. Together let’s CELEBRATE naps, raise narcolepsy awareness and tear down the walls of misconceptions and stigma. We hope you will join us!
