Narcolepsy Family Weekend 2025 Recap

Wake Up Narcolepsy (WUN)’s 2025 Family Weekend took place March 21st-23rd at the Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) in Scottsville, Kentucky!
This weekend-long camp usually takes place in the fall, but was held in the spring this year. Similar to the 2024 session, parents with Narcolepsy whose child is affected by one of the conditions served by CCK were also invited to attend.
Many guests joined us for the event, including Dr. Luis Ortiz, Dr. Kiran Maski, Josh Andrews and WUN volunteers Timothy Stroud and Emily Barker. Some of our guests were even able to bring their family along for the fun!
Attendees had more opportunities than ever to hear perspectives, ask questions and seek answers from healthcare professionals and those living with the disorders. Each year, new and returning families find comfort in speaking with others who understand and leave feeling seen.
WUN extends heartfelt appreciation to CCK for hosting us, as well as to the volunteers, guests and attendees who helped make this weekend a success!
