Wake Up Narcolepsy’s Narcolepsy Family Weekend

September 30 – October 2, 2022

Camp for our families provides a unique opportunity where children with narcolepsy can meet other kids experiencing the same symptoms and challenges. Building relationships that extend beyond their diagnosis, children with narcolepsy not only find new friends but also a sense of self-identity in which they are no longer different. They gain self-confidence and empowerment while building hope for their futures. There is no cost to families.

Friendly Reminder: 10:00pm-6:30am is quiet time in lodges. The Dining Hall and the Gym will be open 24/7. The doors in the lodges are heavy and loud. Please keep that in mind when opening and closing the doors in your rooms. THANK YOU!!!

Q. Which session do I register for?

Q. What is the cost to attend camp?

A. Camp is sponsored by Wake Up Narcolepsy and is free to campers and their families. This includes meals, accommodations, and activities while at CCK.

Travel, meals, accommodations, and expenses to get to and from camp are not covered and are the responsibility of individual families.

Q. Who can attend camp?

A. You may register two adults, your courageous camper (child(ren) with narcolepsy), and any siblings under 18 that share the same residence.

Q. I got an email about ordering custom labels, are they required to attend camp?

A. Custom labels are not required to attend camp and there is a fee if you choose to order labels.

Q. A family member has allergies or follows a special diet. What options are available at camp?

CCK is a peanut free facility. Meals will include Keto friendly options. If you have other specific needs please contact CCK for assistance.

Q. Do I need to provide any medical documentation?

A. A physician’s statement is required to attend camp. The form is provided during the application process.
